·       Serve as a VoIP technical Lead, architecting and deploying the Enterprise VoIP solution for Defense Logistics Agency across CONUS and OCUNUS with approximately 300 remote sites and 35,000 users including (5) Cisco Unified Communication Manger (CUCM) version 8.6 clusters, (5) Cisco Unity Connection 8.6 clusters, (2) separated MeetingPlace conferences 8.5 and Cisco Prime Provision Suite; All UC technologies have been deployed on Cisco UCS servers & VMware ESXi 5.0.

·       All activities include developing a complex enterprise dialplan, a high/low level CUCM designs and a migration plan for migrating all remote sites from legacy TDM systems to enterprise VoIP.   Managing customer’s requirements, analyzing hardware, software, licenses and network readiness then developing strategy for implementation and migration.

·       Deploying hundreds of secured faxes and ViPer/STE secured phones, loading their crypto keys and troubleshooting secured phones/faxes when issues arrive.  Implementing and troubleshooting hundreds of VG224 gateways to support elevators as well as telecommunication closet analog phones.  Implementing and troubleshooting the VG202 gateways to support AV system in conference rooms.

·       Leading VoSIP project; designing, engineering, and implementing (2) VoSIP CallManager 7.1 clusters with ICT connection to DISA and other special classified cluster.  Designed and Implemented plus (+) dial plan for call back in missed call directory.  Involved in the integration of radio channels to the IP phone via multicast, working with the network engineer to integrate multicast and transcoder appliance.

·       Acting as UCCX engineer to update script to meet NGA call center requirement; implemented single number reach solution to support remote agents; implemented ring-back network MoH so the users will hear the ring tone while connecting to the agent.

·       Pursuing the whole Cisco VoIP suite upgrade to version 8.x, upgraded Meeting Place 7.0 to 8.5 and virtualized the cluster in VMWare; upgraded UCCX 7.x to 8.0.2 then 8.5 to be able to virtualize in VMWare; upgraded CallManager 7.1.3 cluster to 8.5 and virtualized the cluster in VMWare; upgrading and migrating Unity 7.x to Unity Connection 8.5 using COBRAS; upgrading Unified Presence 7.x to 8.5

 

Network Test/Integration Engineer

·       Member of Pentagon Renovation Network (PenRen) Test and Integration Team.

·       Designing, configuring and testing QoS from layer 2 Cisco/Extreme/Nortel to layer 3 Juniper for implementing to the Pentagon architecture network supporting Nortel and Cisco VoIP solution.
